The world has lost its color, and its warmth went with it.

Every year the autumn deer paints the season, but this year it grew too tired to finish. The hills turned gray, the maples lost their red, and the cold started creeping in.

A child finds the deer resting in a gray meadow. The deer gives them a red scarf and a brush, and the child sets off to finish the autumn.

Color is warmth. Paint the world back, climb up into the sky, and warm the dark hearts of the forest one by one.

How to play

Paint with your brush. The paint fades about two seconds after you stop. Standing in the gray is cold. Your scarf slowly gets shorter, and if it runs out you start the stage again. Stand in color to warm back up. Footholds only hold while they are warm. Ivy bridges, maple leaves and even clouds will carry you only while they are painted. Rising leaves lift you up, but only while they stay warm. Frosted footholds won't take paint. Light a stone lantern and everything near it stays warm for a while. Every stage has a dark heart somewhere. Keep it soaked in color until the land comes back. The further you go, the higher they are.

Controls

Move: A / D or Left / Right Jump: Space, W or Up (hold to jump higher) Paint: left mouse button, aim with the mouse Next line of dialogue: Space, Enter or click Fullscreen: F11 or Alt + Enter

Apart from the conversations there is no text in the game. Just follow the warmth.
